Why Jenn

Passion for Education

 

I’m Jenn. I taught in public schools for over 10 years and continued my support as an education foundation board member for 3 more years. I have experience with children of all ages, and expertise in Government, Geography, Art, Yearbook, and Special Education.

 

I studied Psychology & Sociology since I was 12, and earned my Bachelor's in Human Development. Current expertise includes Maxwell organizational leadership and public speaking. Certified in Neurolinguistic Programming (IGNLP Associate and Master) coaching. I am currently in programs to earn diplomas/certifications in trauma, addiction & recovery, and EMDR Therapy.

 

I know conversational German, have experience in American Sign Language, and am learning Spanish.

 

I volunteer weekly doing community education and leading a community music group. I also volunteer for a nonprofit, non-partisan organization that promotes solution-based policies to remove barriers to opportunity.

These methods use perceptual, behavioral, and communication techniques to make it easier for anyone to change their thoughts and actions. These include recovery from phobias & anxiety, zeroing out addiction, and rapid personal development & improvement.
